
Guests arrive at ARIA and are welcomed at the bar with champagne and canapés. They are greeted by their dedicated wait staff and the chef who explains the evening’s events. The menu specially devised daily, consists of eight tasting courses featuring some of renowned chef Matt Moran’s signature dishes and matching wines, drawn from ARIA’s award winning wine list.
The chef plays an integral role at the Kitchen Table. The design allows guests the opportunity to discuss delicate details of each course with the chef preparing their meal. Insightful information about the menu can be shared by the chef, and the chance to engage with him in dialogue makes this a dynamic dining experience.
Celebrated chef and co-owner Matt Moran says The Kitchen Table offers a new and intimate experience to ARIA, "The Kitchen Table gives a true insight into the ARIA kitchen and is an added ingredient to the fine dining experience we offer".
Chef Matt Moran says "Chefs in France first came up with the Chefs Table concept, inviting family and friends to eat at a table in the kitchen so they could try out new dishes. I am hoping by extending this invitation into my kitchen, guests are able to observe and share my passion for excellence in the kitchen".
The Kitchen Table experience costs $300.00 per person including an eight course tasting menu with matching wines or a premium wine menu at $425.00 per person. Bookings are available for groups of four to eight people. Please be aware a $300 room hire fee applies for bookings of 4 guests should they select the regular wine menu. Bookings are available for lunch Monday to Friday and for dinner Monday to Sunday.
